For users wishing to sell web hosting through CannyBill, setting up a cPanel Package is a simple, straightforward process that is fully automated thanks to CannyBil's direct link with the cPanel/WHM API.

Configuring cPanel

  1. Enable: This enables you to turn the cPanel API on or off.
  2. Host IP Address: This is the IP address of your cPanel control panel.
  3. Port: This is the port number for your cPanel setup.
  4. Username: This is the username you use to login to cPanel.
  5. Password: This is the password you use to login to cPanel.
  6. Theme: These are the cPanel themes you can choose from.

Building a cPanel Package

Creating a cPanel Package works in 3 steps:

  1. Create a package in the same way you would create a Standard Package but select the cPanel order form type.
  2. Click on the cPanel Settings button and enter the client limits for that package.
  3. Now hit Build Package and you're all done! Now you can preview the Order Form (or Package), then copy and paste the page's URL onto your website!
